Eva Nell Shockley July 14, 1932-May 25, 2017 Eva Nell Shockley, 84, of Stephenville died Thursday, May 25, 2017, in Stephenville. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:30 PM Sunday, May 28th at Cowboy Church of Erath County (back chapel) with Werth Mayes officiating. She graduated high school from Arlington High in Arlington, Texas. Her favorite past time included being with her family and friends talking about her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with a picture to share to anyone who asked. She loved scratching lottery tickets and eating ice cream. Eva Nell was born on July 14, 1932 in Climax Texas to the late Joseph Wilson Nolen and Eva Pauline Horton Nolen. She married the late Elvis Dois Shockley on October 16, 1953 and resided in Cleburne, Texas with their three children. She was a homemaker. Preceding her husband's death she has lived the past 25 years in Stephenville. Survivors include her son, Randall Elvis Shockley of Stephenville, daughter, Rhonda Evans and husband Rocky of Stephenville, and son, Ricky Shockley and wife Melissa of Granbury; Her grandchildren, Ashley Barns and husband Brandon, Kayla Shockley, Trent Manning and wife Danielle, Christen Whitmire and husband Tanner, Briane Shockley, Justin and Jessica Ramos; many great grandchildren, and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Bill Nolen of Arlington. The family would like to give a special thank you to C. B. Sutton and Jade Rudolph.
