Ethel (Hendon) York

Ethel Mae (Hendon) York, 80, of Patillo, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 in Stephenville. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at Mt. Pisgah cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon Monday before the service at Stephenville Funeral Home. Ethel was born on June 30, 1929 in Lone Camp, Texas to Charlie and Zelma Reagan. She was a homemaker. Ethel is survived by sons, Rodney and Doris York of Mineral Wells, and Byron York of Patillo; daughters, Debbie Doty of Valley Mills, and Betty and Eddy Forbes of Lipan; sisters, Edith and Don Wimberley of Stephenville, and Onie Hubble of San Antonio; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton York; and sons, Max York and Rocky York.
