Ethel Earp Montgomery

Ethel Earp Montgomery, 94, of Stephenville, died Sunday, January 11, 2009 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Morgan Mill Cemetery. Visitation: 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM Monday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Ethel was born May 21, 1914 in Morgan Mill to the late Ben and Dovie Henderson Earp. She married Emmett Montgomery on Sept. 29, 1936. He preceded her in death in April 19, 1999. Ethel lived most her life in Erath County. She was a homemaker and she was a Baptist. Ethel is survived by two sons, Deanie Montgomery and wife Sherry; Gary Montgomery and wife Laura; sister Dorothy Evans and husband Jim all of Stephenville; grandchildren, Mike Montgomery; Julie Blankenship; Deana Greenwell; Suzy Gifford; Clay Montgomery; Monty Montgomery; Shawn Montgomery; Ethan Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Monica and Kaylon Greenwell; Laramie and Lorie Montgomery; Morgan and Max Montgomery; Michael, Chloe and Nathan Blankenship. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bennie Montgomery and a brother, Milburn Earp.
