Ernestine Maurer

A celebration of life for Ernestine Maurer, 70, will be held at 9:45 AM, Sunday, October 12th at Faith Lutheran Church with Reverend Tom Konz officiating. Ernestine was born on July 23, 1944 in Beaumont, TX to Ernest and Bessie Marie Poff Maurer. She was a graduate of South Park High School in Beaumont. She has resided in Stephenville since 1997, moving here from Abilene. Ernestine was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was very active in the Special Olympics games, such as walking, and bowling as her specialty because her excellent scores. Ernestine also enjoyed participating in activities in her community, such as dancing, bible studies, talking to her friends, and the Biggest Loser contest, which she won. She is survived by her sister Marion Neff of Arlington, and a few cousins.
