Erna Nell Deiker Lotspeich Cornett December 6, 1924 ~ March 27, 2017 Erna Nell Deiker Lotspeich Cornett, 92, of Selden passed away Monday, March 27, 2017. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodland Park in Mineral Wells, TX. Erna was born on December 6, 1924 in Florence, Oregon, to the late Diamond Morris and Olive Deiker. She married Victor Cornett on April 10, 2007 in Mineral Wells, TX. Erna worked building planes during World War II. She later worked as a waitress and for the United States Postal Service. She was a resident of Selden, and previously resided in Hico, TX, and was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness in 1959. Survivors include her husband of nine years, Victor Cornett of Selden; son, Rod Lotspeich, and wife Elfriede, of Burkburnett; stepchildren, Lannie Cornett, and wife Katherine, Larry Cornett, Lynn Cornett and wife Vonne, Bobby Daniels and husband Eddy, and Vickie Taylor, and husband Curtis; brother, Robert D. Morris; nephews, David M. and Richard M. Morris and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a first husband, Benjamin Wesley Lotspeich in 1984.
