Emma Warren June 21, 1925 ~ February 10, 2018 Emma Warren, 92, of Stephenville passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, 2:00 P.M. at Valley Grove Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas with Ward Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at West End Cemetery in Stephenville. Emma was born on June 21, 1925 in Franklin County, Texas, to the late William Porter Knotts and Ivey Esther Choate Knotts. She married the love of her life, Cecil Warren, on March 7, 1943 in Houston and together they raised two sons. Cecil preceded her in death on March 11, 2004. Emma was a homemaker and a rancher. She was a long-time resident of Stephenville, Texas and was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Adrian and Doyle Warren; grandchildren, Drake Warren, Caitlin Warren, Angela Batiste, Crystal Parlegreco, and Zachary Warren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and six sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Cecil Warren; parents, William and Ivey Knotts; daughter-in-law, Mona Warren; and brothers, Haskell, Thomas, and Bobby Knotts. The Warren family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of memorials to the Valley Grove Baptist Church Mission Fund.
