Elton Francis Bills

Elton Francis Bills, 92, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011, at a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, May 18. 2011 at the Hillcrest Church of Christ. Burial will follow at the West End Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 PM until 8 PM at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Elton was born November 17, 1918 to the late Jesse Lee and Frances Rebecca Deason Bills. He married Natell Pruett on June 15, 1940 in Stephenville. She preceded him in death on October 8, 2003. Elton and Elsie Rains were married on May 14, 2005 in Stephenville. He was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ and was a Dairy Farmer. Elton is survived by his wife, Elsie, of Stephenville; son and his wife, Dwain and Karen Bills of Stephenville; daughters, Carolyn and her husband Jimmie Green; Linda and her husband Billy Powell; and Sandy and her husband Al Steele, all of Stephenville and his sister, Addie Zell Edwards of Stephenville. He is also survived by 7 grandsons, Rick Green, Randy and his wife Leslie Green, Ronny and his wife Diana Green, Larry and his wife Casey Bills, Mark and his wife Holly Bills, Brad and his wife Melissa Powell and Brian and his wife Kelli Powell and by 4 granddaughters, Leann and her husband Brent Hagood, Laurie and her husband Greg Beckmon, Stacie Centers, and Kristie and her husband Jason Johnson and by 23 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Foster Home or to the American Heart Assoc.
