Elouise Fuller November 21, 1924 ~ September 1, 2017 Elouise Fuller, 92, of Stephenville, formerly of Sulphur Springs, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday at the Pine Forest Cemetery in Hopkins County. The family will receive friends Saturday before the service at Stephenville Funeral Home. Elouise was born on November 21, 1924 in Hopkins County to the late Grady and Flarra Parnell Sharp. She married Truitt Burkett on January 25, 1942 in Hopkins County and together they raised a daughter, Martha. He preceded her in death on September 7, 1967. Elouise resided most of her life in Sulphur Springs but spent the past 11 years living closer to her daughter in Stephenville. She worked for many years as a supervisor for H.D. Lee Co. and Bealls Dept. Store but was most known as a care giver to her family. Elouise was a Baptist. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Martha Shelton of Stephenville; grandchildren, Tommy Shelton and wife Vicky of Stephenville and Robin Fanning and husband Todd of Stephenville; great-grandson, Bruce Shelton; great-granddaughters, Dondra Bedwell and husband Cody, Branda Jones and husband Shelby, and B.J. Hough and husband Quincy all of Stephenville; great-great grandchildren, Kinley and Karsyn Bedwell, and soon to be here, Shelton Ray Jones, and Kylar Faith Bedwell; step-son, Donnie Lewis of Sulphur Springs; children of the heart, Fred and Roberta McCauley; nephews, Roger Scott and wife Llea, and Dale Scott of Nacogdoches; great-nephew, Duane Sprague and wife Lisa of Sulphur Springs; and many more loving family and friends. Besides her parents, and husband, Truitt Burkett; Elouise was also preceded in death by husbands, Bruce Bevis in 1970, J.P. Son Lewis, and by Dawson Fuller in 1985; brothers, Orland Sharp and Roland Sharp; and sisters, Bonnie Sharp, Overta Williams, and Gary Golden Sanders.
