Eloise Hale Griswold

Eloise Hale Griswold, 88, of Morgan Mill, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 Friday, October 21, 2011 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Father Curt Norman and Rev. Emil Becker officiating. Interment will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Eloise was born on September 4, 1923 in Stephenville to the late Paul and Annye Maxwell Hale. She married Hilbert Ray Griswold on November 29, 1941 in Lampasas and he preceded her in death on March 6, 1976. Eloise has resided in Morgan Mill for the past 30 years and was a member of the Morgan Mill Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. She is survived by children, Rose Ann Kincannon and husband David of Morgan Mill, Patsy May and husband Paul of Dallas, and Tommy Griswold of Dallas; grandchildren, Ray David Kincannon, Emily May, Stephen May, Marshall Hale Kincannon, and David Chase Kincannon; 2 great-grandchildren, Ethan Kincannon, and Vance Kincannon. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Suitt, and a brother, Jack Hale. Memorials may be made to Foster's Home for children P.O. Box 978 Stephenville, Texas 76401.
