Eldreda Brown

Eldreda was born on August 19, 1924 in Erath County to the late Clide Andrew and Myrtle Mae Fulcher Hogg. She married Charles Leon Brown on October 16, 1943 in Desdemona. They owned and operated a dairy farm in Stephenville for many years. Leon preceded her in death on December 27, 1987. Eldreda was a member of the Valley Grove Baptist Church, and lived most of her life in Erath County. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her son, David Brown of Gorman; daughter, Tootie and husband Butch Cavitt of Stephenville; grandchildren, Barry and wife Paulette Cavitt of Stephenville, Marandy Dove of Proctor, Dave Brown of Hico, Katy Berry of Stephenville, and Emmy and husband Zack Hooper of Stephenville; great grandchildren, Neil and his wife Paige, Leon, Dalton, Morgan, Jaedyn, Kamryn, and Lennon; and great great grandchildren, J.W. and Amelia. Besides her parents and husband, Leon; Eldreda was also preceded in death by a son, Don Brown; daughter-in-law, Pat Lynn Brown; granddaughter-in-law, Brenda Brown; sister, Rowdy Rasberry; brother, Marcus Hogg; and a step-brother, Bill Allen
