Edwyna Smith September 29, 1934 - October 11, 2016 Edwyna D. Smith, 82, of Stephenville, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Don Parker officiating. Interment will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Stephenville. The Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Edwyna was born on September 29, 1934 in the town of Ralls in Crosby County, Texas to the late Albion Smith Hazelwood and Ruby Keele Hazelwood. She married Joe M. Smith on November 24, 1951 in Roswell, New Mexico. Edwyna was a member of the Graham Street Church of Christ and a retired machinist from Norton Co. Survivors include her husband, Joe; son, Tommy L. Smith and wife Johna of Stephenville; daughters, Etta Green and husband Leonard of Granbury, and Peggy Kallom of Granbury; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Rice of Waco, and Geri Stogsdill of Spring; and sister-in-law, Hazel Hazelwood of Lubbock. Besides her parents, Edwyna was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy D. Smith; brother, Al Hazelwood; and three grandchildren, Laura, Rowdy, and Tyler.
