Edwin L. Trussell

Edwin L. Trussell, 95, of Stephenville, died Friday, May 22, 2015 in Stephenville. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 24th at West End Cemetery with Weldon Branham officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Edwin was born September 26, 1919 in Kempner, Texas to the late Edwin L. Sr. and Effie L. Trousdale Trussell. He married Flossie Laverne Wilson on October 5, 1941 in Bell County, Texas. Flossie preceded him in death on February 3, 2012. Edwin served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corps. He has lived the past 30 years in Stephenville, moving here from Florissant, Missouri. Edwin was employed with McDonnel Douglas Aircraft Company as an aircraft engineer for many years. Edwin is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Carla Trussell of Stephenville; daughter-in-law, Lynn Trussell of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Daron Trussell of Stephenville, Lindsay and husband Max DeLeon of McAllen, Steven and wife Jen Trussell of Colfax, Illinois, and Derek and wife Billie Trussell of Valrico, Florida; great grandchildren, Emerson, Ashley and Tyler Trussell, Aiden DeLeon and Wyatt Edwin DeLeon. Edwin was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald Keith Trussell on January 8, 2007.
