Edwin Ray Norris July 6, 1945-March 22, 2018 Edwin Ray Norris, 72, of Stephenville, died Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Stephenville Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday March 27th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Ben McCleery officiating. Burial will follow at Old Dublin Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Ed was born on July 6, 1945 in Gorman to the late John and Lillie Ruth Daffern Norris. He grew up in Stephenville, and at the age of 8 years old, Ed accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. He attended public schools in Stephenville, and graduated in the Stephenville High School Class of 1963. After he graduated from high school he went into law enforcement in Stephenville and Cleburne. Ed has lived in Cleburne, Granbury, several years in Rockport, and the last few years back in Stephenville. He loved the outdoors, and loved to fish. Ed retired as a building contractor. Survivors include his son, Michael and wife Holly Norris of Kyle, Texas; daughter, Keri and husband Brian Behrends of Pekin, Illinois; grandson, Parker Huse; brother, Jimmye Norris of Clarksville, Texas; sister, Karla and husband James Young of Stephenville; and several nieces and nephews.
