Edward Thomas Mcdonald

Edward Thomas McDonald, 80, of Stephenville, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in Stephenville. Edward was born on August 8, 1929 in Sugartown, Louisiana to William and Mae LaCaze McDonald. He married Sue Dear on December 20, 1947 in Sugartown. Edward has resided in Stephenville for the past 3 years after previously living in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was a retired contractor and a Pentecostal. Edward is survived by his wife, Sue McDonald of Stephenville; children, Glenn McDonald and wife Mary of West Lake, LA., Gregory McDonald and wife Jessica of Harlingen, TX., and Gwen Turner and husband Ricky of Stephenville; brothers, A.J. McDonald and wife Carol of Burnet, and Virgil McDonald; sister, Clella May Smith and husband Bruce of Toledo Bend, TX; grandchildren, Kim Schroeder, Glenn McDonald II, Robyn Gaynard, Katheryn Le Blanc, Marc McDonald, Brandi McDonald, Misty McDonald, K.C. Logan McDonald, Amanda Edwards, Dakota Edwards, and Shane McDonald. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Stephenville Funeral Home.
