Edna Hopper Rasberry

Edna Hopper Rasberry, 86, of Morgan Mill, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at her home while surrounded by family. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Edna was born on April 9, 1928 in Seminole, Oklahoma to the late Glen and Frances Alderman Hopper. Edna married Carl Rasberry on November 21, 1945 in San Jose, California and soon made their home in Erath County, Texas. He preceded her in death on February 12, 2005. Edna was a lifelong resident of Erath County, a homemaker, and a member of the Baptist church. Edna is survived by her sons, Ricky Rasberry and wife Diane, Kevin Rasberry and wife Mary Jane; grandchildren, Stephen Howell, Ray Ratliff, Chuck Prill, Keith Prill, Jason Anguiano, Regina Herring, and Shelly Rasberry; ten great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; sisters, Deloris Garner, Norma Griffin, Thelma Tipton, Evelina Harris, and Helen Norris; brothers, Earl Hopper, Robert Hopper, and Thurman Hopper. Edna was preceded in death by her three daughters, Wanda, Francis, and Joan; brothers, Lester Hopper and Chester Hopper.
