Edna "Nana" Damowicz

Edna 'Nana' Damowicz, 89, of Stephenville, died Monday, December 8, 2008 in Stephenville Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Stephenville Funeral Home with Father Phillip McNamara officiating. Edna was born July 21, 1919 in Manhattan, New York, to the late Frank and Florence Vetter Smith. She was a member of the Catholic Church, and had lived in Stephenville for the past 25 years, moving to Stephenville from New York. She was a child care provider. Edna is survived by her daughter and her special friend, Patricia Weber and Jimmy Smith of Stephenville; grandsons, John Weber, Jr. of Stephenville, Robert Weber of Odessa, and Edward Weber of Stephenville; great grandchildren, Eric Weber of Granbury, J. R. Weber of Bluff Dale, Justin Weber of Odessa, Baily Weber of Odessa, and Sloan Weber of Stephenville. 'She was our best friend.'
