Eddie was born on October 24, 1939 in Tarrant County to the late Eddie and Eugenia Poindexter Johnson. He loved to hunt, fish and travel which he has not been able to do for the past four years because of dialysis and poor health. Eddie worked for at Texstar Kubota.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Sue Johnson; daughter, Kellie Johnson; son, Nick Johnson; step-daughter, Amy Pack; Step-son, John Pack; sister, Lolabeth Jones, brothers, Bill Johnson and Robert Johnson; granddaughter, Tatum Smith; as well as several nieces and nephews.
As per Eddie's wishes no services will be held.
