Earl Robert Cook

Duffau Earl Robert Cook, 81, of Duffau Community, died Friday, November 4, 2011 in Stephenville. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday November 13th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Earl was born on January 7, 1930 in Belfast, Maine to the late Charles R. and Lillian M. Seekins Cook. He married Alma Monteith on January 21, 1976 in Glen Rose. Earl served in the U. S. Airforce, was a farmer, and an ordained minister, and had lived the past 20 years in Erath County. He is survived by his wife, Alma; sons, Earl Robert Cook, Jr. of Kentucky, John Cook of Grand Prairie, Billy Cook of Kentucky, Wesley Cook of Kentucky, Roger Cook of Stephenville, and Carl Cook of Kentucky; several step-children including stepsons, Dwight Carter of Stephenville and Donny Mclean of the Cottonwood Community; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Ricky.
