Earl Raymond Collins

Earl Raymond Collins, 95, of Stephenville, died Saturday, November 3, 2007, in Stephenville. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Weldon Branham officiating. Burial to follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Stephenville. Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Earl was born May 20, 1912 in Broken Arrow, OK to the late John W. and Hattie R. Jackson Collins. He married Dixie Ward on January 14, 1934 in Wetumka. OK. She preceded him in death on January 10, 1987. Earl was a member of Stephenville First Assembly. He was a resident of Stephenville since 1961. Earl was a plant operator for Phillips Petroleum and a retired minister. He is survived by two two daughters, Pat Hale of Stephenville; Dollie Parham of Stephenville; one sister, Dortha Campbell of Broken Arrow, OK; one brother, Joe W. Collins and wife Jean of Sapulpa, OK; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Dick R. Collins on March 19, 2007.
