SELDEN Earl Burgan, 75 of Selden, died, Saturday, August 18, 2007, in Kingman, Arizona. Memorial Masonic Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 1, at Duffau Cemetery. Under direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. Earl was born, February 18, 1932, in Duffau to the late Elmer ‘Curley' and Johnnie Irene Lackey Burgan. He married Joyce Rae Lowe, September 21, 1956, in Hico. She preceded him in death September 2, 1997. Earl was a Primitive Baptist, a member of the Stephenville Masonic Lodge, and had lived most of his life in Erath County. He spent most of his life in Banking. Survivors include his son, Daniel Burgan and Tiffany Corey of Kingman, Arizona; daughter and son-in-law, Cherilyn and Joe Cowin of Kingman, Arizona; grandchildren, Jacob Aviles, Brady Ray Cowin, Kaci Nicole Cowin, Carisa Danielle Carroll, and Evan Vance Burgan; 3 brothers, Max Burgan of Sweetwater, Don Burgan of Duffau, and Kent Burgan of Mesquite; 5 sisters, Jackie Rogers of Stephenville, LaQueta Boyd of Belton, LaQuata Rape of Azle; Margaret Tomlinson of Stephenville, and Alma Jackson of Stephenville; and several nieces and nephews He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Imogene Parker and Nina Jones.
