Earl Allison

Morgan Mill Earl Allison, 86, of Morgan Mill, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at his residence. Graveside will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Morgan Mill Cemetery with Koh Box officiating. Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Earl was born on January 21, 1925 in Bosque County, TX, to the late Elmer and Manilla Williams Allison. He married Bessie Faye Dresslar on January 27, 1947 in Lubbock, Texas. He lived many years in Levelland, Texas where he practiced law. In WWII he served as an Infantry Platoon Sgt. in Italy, France and Germany. He received the Purple Heart and was decorated with the Bronze Star. Survivors include his wife Bessie Faye; a daughter Julie King; two sons, Dane Allison and Mark Allison; six grandchildren, Justin Allison, Sarah McDaniel and Rachel Allison; Lukas, Jacob and Aaron King; two great-grandchildren, Kaden and Chloe King. He was preceded in death by one son, Steven Earl Allison in 1968.
