Doyle Gene Vandenberg

Doyle Gene VandenBerg, 54, of Dublin, passed away Friday, April 08, 2011. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday at the Stephenville Christian Reform Church with Merwin Rylaarsdam officiating. Interment will follow at the Johnson Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Doyle was born on April 15, 1956 in Pipestone, Minnesota to the late Richard and Maria VandenBerg. He married Norma Jean Luttmers on May 29, 1976 in Worthington, MN. Doyle has resided in Erath County for the past five years after previously living in Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, and North Carolina. He was a member of the Stephenville Christian Reform Church and was a press operator. Doyle is survived by his wife Norma; daughter, Naomi Hatchell and husband Curtis of Somerset, Kentucky; son Anthony VandenBerg and wife Sabrina of Stephenville; daughter, Sarah VandenBerg of Dublin; grandchildren, Katelynn, Jaden, and Jaxon; sisters, Connie Lovell, and Beth VanWeelde both of Michigan; brothers, Rich VandenBerg of Indiana, Gary VandenBerg of Minnesota, Les VandenBerg of Michigan, Verlyn VandenBerg of Michigan, and Tim VandenBerg of Minnesota; honorary parents William and Audrey Veldhuizen of Dublin and their family. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ivan VandenBerg.
