Douglas Eugene Turley

Douglas Eugene Turley, age 80, a retired builder, electrician, plumber and deacon for 55 years passed away on September 19, 2007 at The Cardiac Center in Fort Worth, Texas. ‘We loved him so, and he dearly loved all his family'. He loved playing "42" with their 42 club. He was born on November 25, 1926 to A. G. and Bertha Turley, and married Alpha Hensley on September 27, 1947. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 22 at the First Baptist Church of Dublin. He will be laid to rest at Lower Greens Creek Cemetery with Bro. Dale Cartwright officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Alpha of Stephenville; son, Mike Turley of Dublin; daughter, Donna Pack and husband Troy of Stephenville; grandchildren, Belinda Starnes and husband Keith of Dublin, Travis Turley and wife Christy of Dublin, Steven Lane and wife Melanie of Stephenville, and Kim Reed and husband Richard of Stephenville; great grandchildren, Justin, Brieanne, and Shaelyn Egdorf of Stephenville, and Tyler and Jaci Lane of Stephenville; brothers, Darwin Turley and wife Louise, Doye Turley and wife Bennie all of Stephenville, Curtis Turley and wife Dortha, Aundrew Turley and wife Johnnie all of Dublin. He was preceded in death by his parents, A. G. and Bertha Turley, a baby sister, and a sister, Aundrenette Pair.
