Dorris Johnson Rosdail

Dorris Johnson Rosdail, 83, of Selden, passed away Sunday June 8, 2008 at her residence in Selden. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Selden Baptist Church with Rev. A.J. Kennemer , Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at West End Cemetery in Stephenville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm Tuesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Dorris was born April 5, 1925 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Joy Joseph and Bessie McGrew Sutherland. She married James S. Johnson on June 16, 1955 in Burbank, California and he preceded her in death on May 30, 1985. Dorris married Merle "Bud" Rosdail in 1990 in Las Vegas, NV. She has resided in Selden since 1981 and also resided in Sun City, Arizona after previously living in Valencia, California. Dorris was a member of the Selden Baptist Church. She was self employed and a homemaker. Dorris is survived by her husband, Merle "Bud" Rosdail of Selden; daughter, Le Ann Wills and husband Jeff of Stephenville; grandchildren, Michael James Wills of California, and Alyson Leann Wills of Stephenville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joy Joseph Sutherland and Bessie Olive McGrew Sutherland; her first husband, James S. Johnson; and by a brother, Joseph Sutherland.
