Dorothy Ann Traweek

Dorothy Ann Traweek, 73, of Stephenville, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in Fort Worth. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Valley Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Lingleville East End Cemetery. Visitation with family will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Dorothy was born on September 2, 1937 in Rising Star to the late Luke and Ava Boswell Bagwell. She graduated from Dublin High School and from Tarleton. She married James T. Traweek on February 8, 1958 in Dublin. Dorothy was a Co-owner of Jam-Dot Dairy and Legends Country Club. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved antiquing , rv'ing, golfing and playing cards with family and friends, however her pride and joy was her family. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 53 years, James T.; children, Liz Albrecht and husband David of Dublin, Cynthia Grafe and husband Paul of Boerne, James R. Traweek and wife Stephanie of Stephenville, and John Traweek and wife Donna of Stephenville; sister, Gladys Maikell of Bedford; grandchildren, Amanda Petter and husband Zach, Ashley Morrison and husband Jake, Richard, Stephanie, and Phillip Grafe, Rachael, Grayson, Tyler, Heather, Jordan, and Dylan Traweek, Mary and Katie Meiron; and great-grandchild, Maddox Clark. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Bagwell; and a sister Iona Mae Kloster.
