Dorothy Pack (Mickie) Griggs

Dorothy (Mickie) Pack Griggs, 88, of Stephenville died Saturday April 19, 2008 in Fort Worth. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday April 21, 2008 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with burial at East Memorial Cemetery in Stephenville. Mickie was born on January 3, 1920 in Stephenville to the late Ben and Zilla Chambers Pack. She married Lee Price Griggs on May 5, 1942 in Breckenridge. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1986. Mickie had resided in Erath County most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Jo Conatser of Lingleville; Bonita Loewe of Carmine, TX; three sons, Michael Griggs of Pasadena, Tx; Larry Pat Griggs of Stephenville; Leland Griggs of Mineral Wells; a sister, Virginia (Skeet) Reid of Brenham; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
