Doris Marie Guidry Stewart

Doris Marie Guidry Stewart, 80, of the Hannibal Community, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in Hannibal. Funeral service will be at the Hannibal First United Methodist Church on Friday, November 15 at 10:30AM. The service will be officiated by son-in-law Nolan Lewallen, Pastor Ed Dittfurth of Cornerstone Assembly, and Pastor Kory Koch of Hannibal First United Methodist Church. Doris Marie Guidry was born on February 10, 1933 in Golden Meadow, Louisiana to her parents, Samson and Alexina Guidry. She was married to George (Cowboy) Stewart on November 7, 1956. Cowboy preceded her in death on December 26, 2011. They lived in Erath County since 1956. Survivors include one daughter, Zandra Lewallen and her husband, Nolan; one son, Spur Stewart and his wife, Rinda; Six grandchildren, Aaron Lewallen and his wife, Stacey, Noelle (Lewallen) Robinson and her husband, Rusty, Spur Stewart, Seth Lewallen, Sam Stewart, Lauren (Lewallen) Penner and her husband, Alex; five great-grandchildren, three sisters: Ruth LaGarde, Lolitte Chouest, and Nita Plaisance Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Solaris Hospice,2250 S.
