STEPHENVILLE -- Doris Janette Tidwell Martin 76, Our dear beloved mother and Maw Maw, has gone to be with Lord. She passed away on Saturday July 10, 2010 in Stephenville. "Many daughters have done nobly, but you excel them all" Proverbs 31:29 Funeral: 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Burial: West End Cemetery in Stephenville.Doris was born on August 5, 1933 in Fort Worth to the late Tyra Webster Tidwell and Lena Rae Owens.She loyally devoted her life to her husband, family and the Lord. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband Bert Crimm Martin on August 17, 2009. Doris and B.C. enjoyed 58 years of marriage and faithfully serving the Lord together. She is survived by her son, Tyra Wayne Martin; three daughters, Karen Janette Allen; Ida Christine Doggett, and Cyndi Godwin; her sister, Joyce Etheridge; as welll as her many loved grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. To our precious Daddy and Mother, Maw Maw & Paw Paw, " And so shall they ever be with the Lord." Amen.
