Doris Hammit Larner Evans

Doris Hammit Larner Evans, 64, of Morgan Mill, Texas passed away Tuesday March 18, 2008 in Fort Worth. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the Stephenville First Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at the Morgan Mill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday March 19, 2008 at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Doris was born on October 6, 1943 in Plainview, Texas to the late Kenneth Hammit and Mary Etta Hammit. She has resided in Erath County most of her life, and was a retired Bank Teller. Doris married Jim Evans on December 31, 1999 in Stephenville. She was a member of the Morgan Mill Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Jim Evans of Morgan Mill; sons, David Larner; Marty Larner and wife Jodi; granddaughter, Lariat Larner all of Morgan Mill; mother, Mary Hammit Turknett of Stephenville; sister, Sharon Hammit Edington of Goldthwaite. She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Hammit.
