Donnie Lewis Doughty June 24, 1950-November 11, 2016 Donnie Lewis Doughty, 66, of Stephenville, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 in Stephenville. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Donnie was born on June 24, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to the late Grady and Ada Doughty. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy and because of his wanting to serve and help others he earned his nursing license and worked for many years as a L.V.N. Donnie worked and lived in many places and many states including Colorado, Florida, before spending the last years of his life in Texas. Donnie married Carolyn Hunt on February 27, 2007 in Harlingen and they resided in Stephenville. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Carolyn Doughty of Stephenville; daughter, Marjorie Doughty of Austin; sons, Robert Doughty and wife Christine of Grovetown, GA., and Charles Doughty and wife Tamitha of Granbury; step-children, Cynthia Walston of Stephenville, Melinda Hardin of De Leon, Cecelia Carter of Gainesville, Troy Cagle of Gainesville, and Michael Cagle of Stephenville; sister, Judy Wells of Abilene; grand-children, Gabriel, Gage, Caleb, Nadine, Richard, Joshua, Emily, Gary, Kaleigh, Karleigh, Kaylee, Kaden; great-grandchildren, Ryker, Keldon and Felix; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.
