Donald Ray Sims

Don was born in Lingleville to the late Hugh Thomas and Edna Odeal Robinson Sims. He was an electrician and farmer most of his life and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends at School Hill. He wasn't a man of many words, but he had a big heart and would show it with a smile and a hug. He was a highly respected pillar of the community and will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Joyce Sims; daughter, Judy Greci; grandsons David Kirt Sims and wife Tammy, Dakota Putrite and wife Hilary and Randall Sims; great-grandson, Riker Sims; brothers Royce Sims , Norman Sims, David Sims, Arlis Sims and wife Shirley and many nieces, nephews and friends. Don was preceded in death by his son, Nickey Ray Sims; sister June Talley; brother Tommy Brooks Sims; and infant brother Jackson Sims.
