Don C. Watson

Don C. Watson, 80, of Bluff Dale, died Friday evening, August 17, 2007 at Community Nursing in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 21, at Bluff Dale Baptist Church with Luke Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Glenn Cemetery in Bluff Dale. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday evening at Stephenville Funeral Home. Don was born September 24, 1926 in Bluff Dale, to the late William Hunter and Alva Lee Oakes Watson. He married Elwanda Fallin, January 6, 1946, in Stephenville. Elwanda preceded him in death March 1, 2007. Don served during WWII in the Merchant Marine Corps. He was a member of the Bluff Dale Baptist Church, Bluff Dale Masonic Lodge, and a life long resident of Bluff Dale. He was shop foreman for Parker-Hannifin for many years. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Hank and Glenetta Watson of Bluff Dale, Barry and Cindy Watson of Dublin; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jim Forsythe of Willow Park; sister, Cleo Smith of Gainesville; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
