Delma Jean Hook of Stephenville, at the age of 78, passed away on January 24, 2024.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 28 at Smith Spring Cemetery.

Jean was born on Aprily 27, 1945 in Erath County, Texas to John Delmer Shelton and Ola Daisy McKinney Shelton.  Jean married Kenneth Hook on June 5, 1963 in Granbury, Tx.  She was a Babysitter for many years.  Jean was a member of Victory Baptist Church

Jean is survived by children, Sheila and husband Mike McNickle, Kevin Ray and wife Leann Hook, and Jason Craig and wife Rachel Hook; sisters, Joyce Griffin and husband Bill, and Mary Shelton Quarles; Grandchildren, Hailey Keating, Courtney Keating, Kody and wife Hannah Hook, Karson and wife Taryn Hook, Brandon Griffin, Emily Hook, Jaxon McNickle, David McNickle and Ayden Cruse; and great grandchild Margaret Elizabeth Hook; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, and her 2 brothers, R.C. Shelton and Robert Shelton.
