Dawn Marie Price

Dawn Marie Price, 55, left us entirely too soon on July 28, 2024. She was born on July 31, 1968, in Dallas, Texas, to George and Fairy (Hauptman) Price. She spent 49 years of her life in Stephenville, Texas.

Dawn was a go getter, after graduating high school she went on to further her education at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, where she majored in Business Education. She worked for Emerson for 25 years as a material control specialist. She lived to work and loved country music. Her greatest joy in life was her family, she loved her boys and grandchildren more that life itself.

Dawn is survived by her sons, Jonathan Mathis and his wife, Sonia of Stephenville, Kyle Mathis of Stephenville, grandchildren, Trenton Mathis, Giovani Patlan, Kendall Mathis, Kohley Mathis, and Elizabella Blade Mathis, her siblings, Karen Holbrook and husband Charlie of Granbury, Georgia Price Mathis of Comanche, and James Price of Arlington, as well as her nephews and nieces, James Price Jr., Brayden Price, Craig Wells, Jaycee Price, Kimberly Williams and McKenzie Williams, Richard and Sage Williams.

Dawn is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Cindy Williams, and her niece, Amanda Wells.

A service will be held in Dawn’s memory on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 12:00 P.M., at Stephenville Funeral Home.
