David L. Wood February 3, 1939 - October 19, 2015 David L. Wood, 76, of Stephenville, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Morgan Mill Cemetery with Bobby Machen officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. David was born on February 3, 1939 in Morgan Mill to the late Cebern and Leola Harris Wood. He was a Heavy Equipment operator and a truck driver. David has resided in Erath County all of his life. He and Ann were members of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ann Wood of Stephenville; sons, Dale Goodrum and James Martin of Houston; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Cebern Wood, Jr. of Haltom City, Alden Wood of El Paso, William Wood of El Paso, and Franklin Wood of Stephenville; and a sister Mary Fonville of Azle.
