David Lloyd Ratliff

David Lloyd Ratliff of Stephenville, passed away on December 30, 2023 at the age of 81.

Funeral services for David will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, January 3rd at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Pilot Knob Cemetery. Visitation for David will be at 9 AM before his service in the
Chapel at Stephenville Funeral Home.

David was born on November 25, 1942 in Stephenville to his parents, the late Walter and Nora Rhoades
Ratliff. David proudly served his country in the National Guard. He married Kayella Yocham in 1964
(celebrated 59 years in August) and they had one daughter, Paulette and one son, Dave. David was self-
employed as a truck owner-operator for 50 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and flying. He was a
member of the First Baptist Church.

David is survived by his wife, Kayella, his daughter Paulette Tutor and husband Bryan of Fort Worth, and
his son David L Ratliff (Dave) II and Meredith Buscher of Stephenville; 2 grandsons, Logan Tutor and
Tripp Ratliff; one granddaughter, Alexandra Tutor; and brothers, Roy Ratliff and wife Jane of Fort Worth and Delbert Ratliff and wife Sally of Stephenville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Nora Rhoades
Ratliff, and sister, Fayenelle Parkinson.
