David Alton Pyle

David Alton Pyle, 95, of Houston, Texas sadly left us on September 26, 2022.  David was born on September 13, 1927 in Iola, TX in Grimes County.   David is preceded in death by his parents Stella and Neal Pyle, Mary Helen Pyle his wife of 49 years, and daughter Sherri Lynn Pyle.  He is survived by daughter Mary Howard and husband Roy L. Davis of Stephenville, TX, grandson James Neal Howard and wife Stephanie of Crane, TX, granddaughters Raeley Howard and Corley Howard, a great granddaughter Emily Gallegos and husband Xavier, and many nieces and nephews

David Pyle married Mary on July 21, 1950.  They lived in Houston where he was a welder for Wyatt Metal and Boiler works.  He has been retired since 1983.

There will be visitation at the Stephenville Funeral Home Friday, September 30, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and graveside services will be at Concord Cemetery in Iola, TX on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 3 p.m.
