David Leroy Hooks, 49, of Stephenville, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel.
David was born on September 16, 1969 in Stephenville to Max and Mary Anders Hooks. He married Denise Bailey in Stephenville and they had one son, Devin James. David has resided most of his life in Stephenville and worked for Tarleton State University as a Facilities Coordinator.
Survivors include his wife, Denise Hooks of Stephenville; son, Devin James Hooks of Stephenville; mother, Mary Frances Hooks of Stephenville; sisters, Debra Dameron and husband Clayton, Barbara LeJeune, and Judy Bradford all of Stephenville; brother, Steven Hooks and wife Jennifer of Stephenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Max Hooks; and brothers, William Bryan Hooks, and Johnny Hooks.
Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post #240 P.O. Box 184 Stephenville, Texas 76401.
