David Albert Eargle

Bedford David Albert Eargle, 96, of Bedford, passed away Thursday, January 06, 2011 in Grapevine. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January10, 2011 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Roan officiating. Interment will follow at the East Memorial Cemetery in Stephenville. David was born December 9, 1914 in Newberry, S.C. to the late James Haskell and Agnes Eargle. He married Lois Marie Cox on September 6, 1942. She preceded him in death on August 20, 2000. David served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII, and had resided in Tarrant County since 1944. David was an Aircraft Mechanic. He is survived by a daughter, Judy Townley and husband John of Bedford; grandchildren, Kory Brooks and husband David; Jeremy Townley and wife Mandy; great-grandchild, Danielle Marie Brooks; brothers and sister, Kenneth Eargle of Laurens of S. C.; John Eargle of Newberry, SC.; Theresa Eargle of New York City. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard.
