Daniel "Dan" Creamer June 4, 1954-January 9, 2016 Daniel "Dan" Creamer, 61, of Stephenville, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, January 18, 2016 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ward Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at Wampler Cemetery in Parker County. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Monday before the service at Stephenville Funeral Home. Dan was born in Fort Worth on June 4, 1954 to the late Vernon Creamer and Corda Rea "Corky" Spiva Creamer. He volunteered for the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany. It was his honor to have served for the country he loved so much. Dan loved the game of golf. Most knew him from Tejas Golf Course which he ran for 8 years. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy's fan never giving up on the boys. Dan has resided in Stephenville for over 25 years after previously living in Houston, Fort Worth, and Cleburne. During his many years working as an Auto Technician, Dan befriended dozens of his regular customers and often performed personal favors at the drop of a hat for many who loved and appreciated him dearly. He will be missed by all who knew him. Dan is survived by his special companion and loving care giver, Nancy Creamer; son, Russell Creamer; daughter, Shayla Martinez; step-daughter, Christy Chasteen; half brother, Vernon Creamer, Jr. seven grandchildren; cousins, Brenda Lipps, Dayna Fowler and Larry Fowler, Jr.; uncle, Sheriff Larry Fowler Sr., Parker County; niece, Miranda Fowler Hamblin; nephew, Phillip Fowler; long time friends, Time and Sheri Eddy; and many loving extended family.
