Dana Dowell, 51, of Stephenville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, July 21st , after a two year battle with ovarian cancer. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 23rd at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church, with Ed Dittfurth and Alan Brunson officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Dana was born to Wayland and Joan Wright, July 26, 1961 in Knox City, Texas. Dana lived in Childress, Texas til 1975, when she moved to Stephenville. Dana married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Dowell on June 19, 1981. They recently celebrated thirty-two beautiful years of marriage. Dana attended Cornerstone Assembly for fifteen years. Her passions were serving the Lord, taking care of her family, and she took great pride in being a Mimi. Dana is survived by her husband, Kenneth; three children, Kristopher and wife Athena Dowell of Stephenville, Kory and wife Andrea Dowell of Ada, Oklahoma, and Keaton Dowell and her significant other, Joseph Morrison of Stephenville; her parents, Wayland and Joan Wright; three grandchildren, Makenzie Dowell, Kyler Dowell, and Avyn Johnson; four brothers and sister, Ricky Wright, Rod and Richele Wright, Randy and Lori Wright, Tanya Wright, and Russell and Michelle Wright; mother-in-law, Liddy Dowell; brother-in-law, Keith and Birgit Dowell; sister-in-law, Karen and Stephen Wilson; nieces, Christy and Brian Bosch, Misty and Michael Simpson, Tracie Wright, Raenie Wright, Reecie Wright, Hannah Wilson, Makenzie Lewis, Kyle Wright, Logan Wright and Hollis Wright; nephews, Cutter Wright, Riggan Wright, Jacob Wright, Todd and Athelia Pate, Brandon and Nikki Pate, Tyler and Marissa Pate, Bradley Collins, and Gunner Wright; great nieces and nephews, Jamison Bosch, Garrett Bosch, Evan Bosch, Kya Simpson, Kendreick Simpson, Kelan Simpson, Brycen Pate, Cooper Pate, Christian Pate, Aleasia Pate, Kaden Falcon, Errol Falcon, Aiyannah Chambers, Kaleb Chambers, Michael Chambers, and Devin Chambers; and numerous friends. Dana is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Joe Dowell, and Great Niece, Alana Pate.
