Curtis Lee Dudley, Jr, 58, of Stephenville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 30, 2021.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 3, 2021 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lingleville East End Cemetery. Visitation with the Dudley family will begin before services, 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM Friday
Lee was born on March 17, 1963, in Brownwood, Texas to the late Curtis Lee Dudley, Sr. and Peggy Jean Graves Dudley. He married Patti Jean Mathers on September 17, 1982, in Brownwood. Lee grew up in Brownwood, later moved to Comanche where he taught school at Comanche Jr. High and High School. When his boys were young, he was a Boy Scout Leader, and spent many summers at Baptist R. A. camps. Lee was a paramedic, he spent time working in Stephenville when the medical transport was in its beginning, with Pro Med Ambulance transfer service, and worked several years with Erath County Fire Rescue. Lee and Patti moved to Stephenville in 1999.
Lee is survived by his wife, Patti; sons, Adam and wife Shanda Dudley of Stephenville, and Tyler Dudley of Stephenville; grandchildren, Austin Dudley and Jayc Dudley; sister, Sharon and husband Craig Fox of Bryan/College Station; brother, Bobby and wife Tina Dudley of Brownwood; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Lee was also preceded in death by a nephew, Christopher Dudley.
