Coy Mitchell

Coy Mitchell, 47, of Stephenville, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in Fort Worth. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 3rd at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Coy was born on October 2, 1970 in Snyder, Texas to the late Lloyd Mitchell and the late Dianne Horn Atkeisson. He was raised in Corsicana and Colorado City graduating from Corsicana High School and attending TSTC for welding. He married the love of his life Rose Dove on October 23, 1999 in Corsicana and together they have resided in Stephenville for the past 11 years. Coy worked for Olam Edible Nuts in Dublin. He is survived by wife, Rose Mitchell of Stephenville; aunts, Doris Mitchell of Abilene, and Peggy Mitchell Forbes of Clyde; uncle, Jim and wife Allie Jo Horn of Carlsbad, NM; step-father, Joe Atkeisson of Ennis; step-mother, Janet Mitchell of San Angelo ; step-brothers, Kyle and wife Michelle Hillard of Snyder, and Eric Hillard of San Angelo; step-sisters, Cindy and husband Don Burden of Ennis, Tracy and husband Jimmie Goff of Ennis, and Becky Sherrin of Frisco; cousins, Troy and wife Christi Erwin of Big Spring, and Carla Horn of San Angelo; and many other loving family and friends. Coy was preceded in death by his parents.
