Cooper Whitt Terry June 21, 2001-November 7, 2016 Cooper Whitt Terry, 15, of Stephenville, Passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, November 11, 2016 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Don Middleton officiating. Interment will follow at the Hannibal Cemetery in Erath County. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Cooper was born on June 21, 2001 in Abilene, Texas the son of Jason Terry and Wendy Tate Lee. He grew up in the Fort Worth area and has resided for the past year in Stephenville. Cooper, a sophomore at Stephenville High School, is known as a practical joker who loved music. He loved spending time with his family and friends hanging out or playing guitar with his band. He also loved hunting, fishing and was a developing entrepreneur who mowed lawns, and started a firewood business. Cooper was a member of the Cross Timbers Church of Christ where he loved worshipping his Lord. Left to cherish his memory are his father, Jason Terry of Ft. Worth; mother and step-father, Wendy Tate Lee and Damion of Stephenville; sister, Brooklyn Terry of Stephenville; step-sisters, Ashlyn and Maddie Lee of Denton; grandparents, Lonnie and Phyllis Tate of Stephenville, and Mike L. Terry of Roby; uncles and aunts, Barry and Beth Tate, Matt and Kala Tate, Chad and Paige Terry, and Jeremy and Shannon Terry; he is also survived by many cousins and loving friends. Cooper was preceded in death by his grandmother, JoAnn Terry.
