Clyde Wilhite Paul

Clyde Wilhite Paul, 99, passed away Wednesday January 28, 2009 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Desdemona Church of Christ with Ken Frazier officiating. Burial: Desdemona Cemetery in Desdemona. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Clyde was born on Dec. 23, 1909 in Hasse, Texas to the late Solomon and Sarah Wilhite Tandy. She married Kenneth Irvin Paul. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1982. Clyde was a member of the Church of Christ. She had resided in Desdemona where she grew up and went to school. She also resided in Kansas for over 30 years. Clyde was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Jo Ann Good of Carbondale, KS; four grandchildren, Becky Tipton; Cathy Thompson; Kristie Chaffee, and Lee Johnson; seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
