Clifton Melton "C. M." Taylor

Clifton Melton ‘C. M.' Taylor, 92, of Stephenville, died Sunday, July 5, 2009, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 9th, at the First Presbyterian Church in Stephenville with Dr. Sharon Bryant, officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home C. M. was born, February 18, 1917, in Springfield, Missouri, to the late Jesse William and Linda Elizabeth Dickens Taylor. He married Ama Lee Ewing Thompson on November 19, 1966 in Stanton, Texas. Survivors include one son, Euland Thompson and wife Judy of Loleta, California; six grandchildren, Patrick Bryce and Ryan Bryce of Odessa, Ross Thompson and Rena Heagle of California, Melinda Blais of Arizona, and their mother Marzelle Henrich of California; eight great grandchildren, Emma Ashley, J. Taylor, Nick, Cheree, Brittney, Emily, Rebecca, and Ian; and one great great grand daughter, Haley C. M. was also preceded in death by a son, Johnny Taylor; a daughter, Linda Walker; and a grandson, J. W. Bryce. C. M. enjoyed his family and the many accomplishments he contributed thru the 31 years of his employment at Waukesha Pierce In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund at First Presbyterian Church in Stephenville.
