Claude E. Palmer

Claude E. Palmer, 87, of Stephenville, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in Stephenville. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 17, 2013, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Claude was born on March 14, 1926 in Mulkeytown, Illinois, to the late George Anderson and Gertrude Brown Palmer. He married Betty Joe Fulkerson on June 2, 1945 in Christopher, Illinois. She preceded him in death in 1993. Claude served in the U. S. Army Air Corps, was a member of the Baptist Church, and had lived in Stephenville for the past 23 years. He was a copper miner. Claude is survived by his sons, Donald and wife Carmen Palmer, Richard Palmer, and David and wife Myra Palmer; daughters, Claudia Palmer and Betty and husband Danny Armour; 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Claude was preceded in death by Jeffrey M. Palmer in 1974, and Beverly A. Roberts in 2004.
