Christine Jernigan Hudgins

Christine Jernigan Hudgins, 87, of Stephenville, died Tuesday, December 07, 2010 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel, with Don Middleton officiating. Burial: 2:30 PM at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Christine was born March 4, 1923 in Seymour, TX to the late Willis and Johnnie Coombes Jernigan. She married Patrick (Pat) Hudgins on December 8, 1941 in Weatherford. He preceded her in death on December 6, 1984. Christine was a member of Cross Timbers Church of Christ and had lived in Stephenville since 1963 moving here from Fort Worth. She was a Real Estate Agent for United Country Real Estate Agency which was created by Pat and her. Christine was also a member of Tarleton Music Club; Texas Association of Realtors; The Eastern Star; Fort Worth Symphony; Zonta Club and was a member of the Ambassadors Club of the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce. She is survived by a brother, James Jernigan and wife Lee of Stephenville, and several nieces and nephews.
