Christi Lynn Boardman

Christi Lynn Boardman, 41, of Stephenville, died Thursday, January 17, 2013, in San Antonio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will follow with a private service for family and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Christi was born on February 8, 1971 to Sherry Boardman in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She attended Stephenville High School and West Brook High in Beaumont, Texas. Christi also attended TCJC in Fort Worth, Texas. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed diving and spending time with beloved family and friends. She was a Baptist. Christi is survived by her mother, Sherry Boardman of Stephenville; Brother Michael Sheppard Jr. and wife Lyndie of Beaumont; grandmother, Elizabeth Kilgore of Stephenville; aunt, Sandra Chambers and husband Eugene of Lingleville; cousin, John David Knouse of Lingleville; fiancé, Jesse I. Knowles of Stephenville. Christi is preceded in death by her step-father Dr. Bill B. Boardman in 1986.
