Charlotte Brown

Charlotte Sue Brown, 88, of Stephenville, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 4th, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Scott Brown officiating. Burial will follow on Wednesday at Coleman Cemetery in Coleman. Charlotte was born on February 1, 1926 to the late Frank and Maude Sauter Bourland. She married James E. Brown, on April 14, 1945 in Strawn. He preceded her in death January 13, 2009. Charlotte was a member of Rocky Point Church, and had lived in Erath County since 2005, moving here from the Austin area. Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Patricia Gilbert of Houston; son, Scott Brown of Stephenville; grandchildren, Lisa Johnson, Chris Gilbert, Shawn Walsh, Jim Hoover, and Robyn Walsh; great grandchildren, Taylor, Cole, Kyle, and Sienna; sister, Rosemary Brewster; and several nieces and nephews. Charlotte was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Corey; and by two sisters and one brother
